rules and regulations making sure things run smoothly Quick Guest rules [oo1] Please remember that you must register to be able to apply for a character on this forum. [oo2] Please do not sign up to the forums just so you can get a character that you want and don't like the idea of anyone else having it. [oo3] If you are confused or concerned about something, please just give me a message in the Chatbox at the top of the forum, and if I am not around, another member of staff will be more than happy to respond. Signing up/Accounts [oo1] When you register, you may use whatever name that you want. We recommend that you register with the name of the character you want to apply for on the forums. [oo2] You must be registered to be able to post on this forum. The advertisement board and Encyclopaedia board are the only boards which are guest friendly to allow you to view the information. [oo3] You should also have an avatar and signature, or at least just an avatar. Make sure you give credit when using an avatar to the rightful copyright owners. [oo4] If applying for a Cannon character, please remember you may have up to seven! [oo5] Signatures must be a limit of 400px in width and 250px in height. Any signatures that exceed this limit will be removed, and you will be told to change your signature size. Applications/Applying [oo1] When applying, please use the provided template/application form. You are allowed to modify the header image, and of course, add in any additional text if you desire to help with your applications development. [oo2] Because 'Unleashed Adventures' is a multi-fandom roleplay universe, it means that there are hundreds of characters to apply from. Working on histories in applications can be time consuming, and hard work. Here, we allow you to copy and paste information for histories, as long as it is respectfully CREDITED and not over elaborate or extensive in size. [oo3] We care about our members, and our community, so, we do not want you feeling stressed! Especially since forums, are about relaxing and enjoying new experiences and interactions with other people! So, we actually have no time limit on applications. Take as long as you want or need! [oo4] You are allowed to apply for 6 canon characters only. Any additional characters will cost 5 IC POSTS from your previously applied canon character, just to represent to us you are still active enough to apply for even more! [oo5] You are also free to make your own characters. They do not even have to be based off movies, tv shows, games etc. Let your imagination run wild! Of course, with restrictions and certain boundaries. Please ask a staff member for these restrictions! General [oo1] Respect all members and staff. Don't say anything you wouldn't want said to you. If you are having a conflict with another member, either work it out through PM's or take it to the staff. [oo2] Don't spam or flame anyone. Spamming is posting a pointless, stupid message several times, and flaming is harassing or annoying someone with a rude message. [oo3] This is an intermediate-advanced site. Our minimum word count per post is 200 words- not that much. However, we focus more on the quality of posts than the length. If you can write twenty pages for a post, that's wonderful. If you can capture the mood and scene perfectly with 201 words, wonderful. [oo4] A paragraph is seven to nine sentences. We do expect decent size paragraphs. [oo5] Never use chatspeak. - Don't use it IC, OOC, or on the cbox. [oo6] Stay active, please. We understand if you can't be on every day, but at least try to keep up on all your threads. [oo7] Power playing is not allowed. Taking control over someone else's character, actions, etc. is not allowed. Neither is auto-hitting, which means saying you did hit the other person's character or saying you caused an injury. Godmoding isn't allowed either, meaning dodging every attack or winning every fight. [oo8] If you do get in trouble, don't say you didn't know. That would only show that you didn't read the rules, which would get you in even more trouble. [oo9] Don't swear at members. You can swear OOC. Your characters can say anything they want IC. Just don't use offensive words directly to another members OOC. [o10] If your characters are enemies, it does not mean you are. [o11] No content over an R rating. If your thread does get to be rated R, please put [R] in the title. [o12] Also, please tag your threads. If you don't have a specific person you want to RP with, then just put [Open]. [o13] Any RP threads that have not been posted in for over a month shall be archived. If the participants wish to continue the thread, PM a Staff Member. [o14] No Post Claiming. You cannot claim a spot in a thread with 'I will post later, no one post yet!' as other people may have more time and be able to post before you. Sorry, but no, if you miss it, you miss it, just post afterwards. |
